The context

Project requests can easily scatter across notes, ideas and bugs to fix. Ardoise brings them together in a desktop app that stores data in a local folder compatible with Obsidian.

From notes to a board

Each project has a Kanban board and a list view. Requests are organised into bugs, features and ideas, with priorities, assignees and due dates. Grouping by status, assignee or requester offers different ways to look at the work.

Dragging a card changes its status. Several themes let the interface fit its working environment.

Files that remain accessible

Data is stored in Markdown files. Ardoise watches the folder for changes and writes back modified items while preserving other notes. The board and the files provide two ways to access the same work, without a server.

Tests cover models, drag and drop, layouts, and round trips between the app and its Markdown folder.
